Enabling Machine Vision

Ultra High Definition Video (referred to variously as “Ultra HD”, “UHD”, “UHDTV”, “4K UHD”) , with 4X the resolution of 1080P HD video, requires an interconnect system that can transfer data at a rate of up to 12 Gbps. Using legacy BNC connectors often supporting a max frequency of 3 GHz, this could require 2 or 4 channels.

Shintonic ‘s 75Ω Series products are optimized for 4K ultra HD broadcast, providing fully intact signal transmission on a single channel.

These connectors are designed for 12G-SDI video applications, and come in a variety of PCB mounting and cable terminations. Shintonic’s 75 Ω series includes BNC, mini-BNC, micro-BNC, DIN 1.0/2.3, SMA, MCX connector.

Shintonic ’s 75Ω Series products are available as PCB connectors with edge-mount, straight, or right-angle conﬁgurations, or as cable connectors for industry standard Belden 4855R, 1694A, or 1855A cable, peak performance can be reached when Shintonic ’s connectors are used as a mated pair.
